Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will oversee the operations of the HVAC company's warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management and effective handling of materials and products. This position employs Oracle NetSuite as the primary inventory management software and includes responsibilities related to the management of the company's vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, excellent organizational skills, and experience in using ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Utilize Oracle NetSuite to monitor inventory levels, process orders, and maintain accurate stock records.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of HVAC equipment and materials in the warehouse.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Warehouse Operations:

• Supervise loading and unloading of products and materials to/from vehicles and the warehouse.
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures within the warehouse environment.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflow processes to improve efficiency.

Vehicle Fleet Management:

• Manage the maintenance and scheduling of the company's fleet of vehicles.
• Oversee vehicle inspections, repairs, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate vehicle assignments and ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff to achieve operational objectives.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance team productivity.
• Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork and safety.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Generate reports on inventory status, fleet utilization, and warehouse performance metrics using Oracle NetSuite.
• Analyze logistics and inventory management processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to align inventory and fleet management with overall company goals.

Supplier and Vendor Coordination:

• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements related to inventory procurement and fleet management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or similar inventory management software.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices related to warehouse and fleet operations.

This role is critical to ensuring efficient operations in the warehouse and will contribute significantly to the overall productivity and effectiveness of the HVAC company's logistics and supply chain functions.
