Responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to support field technicians and internal teams. Ensures inventory accuracy, safe material handling, timely order fulfillment, and a clean, compliant warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities


- Receive & inspect shipments: Unload trucks, verify shipment contents against packing lists or purchase orders, inspect for damage, and report discrepancies or returns.

- Inventory management: Receive, count, label, and put away stock; perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventories; update inventory system accurately.

- Order picking & fulfillment: Pick and stage parts and equipment for service calls and installations; pack and prepare orders for delivery or pickup; prioritize urgent technician requests.

- Material handling & staging: Move bulky HVAC units, compressors, coils, ductwork, and small parts using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and hand tools; stage heavy items for safe transport.

- Shipping & receiving documentation: Prepare shipping paperwork, bills of lading, and receipts; log serial numbers and warranties as required.

- Equipment maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of warehouse equipment (forklifts, hand tools, shelving); report or coordinate repairs for broken equipment.

- Safety & compliance: Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies; maintain proper storage of refrigerants and hazardous materials per regulations; implement safe lifting practices and PPE use.

- Warehouse organization: Keep aisles, racks, and storage areas clean, labeled, and organized; ensure secure storage of high-value items and controlled access where required.

- Communication & coordination: Coordinate with purchasing, service dispatch, and project managers to ensure parts availability and timely fulfillment; relay part shortages or delivery delays.

- Returns & warranty handling: Process product returns, RMA, warranty claims, and credit requests according to company procedures.

- Recordkeeping & reporting: Maintain accurate records of stock movements, shrinkage, damages, and daily activity logs; provide inventory and fulfillment reports when requested.

- Continuous improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements for inventory accuracy, order turnaround time, and warehouse layout efficiency.


Qualifications


- High school diploma or equivalent.

- 1+ years warehouse experience preferred; HVAC industry experience a plus.

- Forklift certification and experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks.

- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory/WMS systems or ERP preferred.

- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50+ lbs) and perform physical work.

- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.



Working Conditions

- Warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

- Occasional overtime and weekend work based on operational needs.

- Driver responsibilities: local delivery and pickup with valid driver's license and clean driving record.




Compensation:

  • full time- 20$-25$ per hour
