Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), this role diagnoses complex NetSuite issues, drafts technical solutions, and develops SuiteScript/JavaScript automations.</p><p><br></p><p>This position follows a structured "Propose &amp; Execute" workflow. All production code changes and workflow updates require CTO review and written approval prior to deployment.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><h3>1. Diagnostic &amp; Root Cause Analysis</h3><ul><li>Investigate NetSuite error logs, execution contexts, and script failures (User Event, Client Scripts, Map/Reduce, and Scheduled Scripts).</li><li>Reproduce reported issues and identify root causes.</li><li>Conduct gap analysis to determine whether issues require patches or new automation logic.</li></ul><h3>2. Solution Design &amp; Code Proposal</h3><ul><li>Develop clean, maintainable SuiteScript (2.0/2.1) and JavaScript solutions.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Prepare concise technical briefs for CTO review, including: Problem summary</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Root cause</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Proposed code solution</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Risk assessment</li><li>Test and validate all fixes in the Sandbox before production consideration.</li></ul><h3>3. Execution &amp; Deployment</h3><ul><li>Deploy approved solutions to production following CTO authorization.</li><li>Develop automation solutions such as record transformations, validation scripts, and process automation to reduce recurring user errors.</li></ul><h3>4. User Liaison</h3><ul><li>Translate user-reported issues into technical diagnoses.</li><li>Communicate status updates and resolution details clearly to stakeholders.</li></ul><p><br></p><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Advanced experience with SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.x (Client, User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, Portlet).</li><li>Strong JavaScript proficiency (ES6+), including asynchronous logic and JSON data handling.</li><li>Experience designing Saved Searches and SuiteQL queries.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to follow structured change-control processes.</li><li>Ability to work on-site and collaborate directly with executive leadership.</li></ul><p><br></p><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Experience with NetSuite integrations (RESTlets, SOAP/REST APIs).</li><li>Node.js experience for system integrations.</li><li>Prior ERP troubleshooting or systems architecture experience.</li></ul><p><br></p><h2>Work Environment</h2><ul><li>On-site position in Philadelphia, PA.</li><li>Direct collaboration with the CTO and cross-functional teams.</li><li>Structured approval process for production changes to ensure system stability.</li></ul><p><br></p><h2>Compensation &amp; Benefits</h2><ul><li>Competitive base salary (negotiable based on experience).</li></ul><p><br></p><h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2><p>Synergy3 is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
